Jonathan Collins, unfortunately it is so easy for them to make these allegations. It is even, in some cases, encouraged by divorce lawyers. Even unfounded allegations serve purpose of stalling or denying (shared) custody of children to father in custody or child welfare hearings, especially when it is coupled with another sets of allegations. In the eyes of general public, sexual abuse can be perpetrated only by male. And there is no protection mechanism against these false allegation unless: 1. woman, herself admitts to, which is highly unlikely or 2. she is found guilty of manufacturing these allegations in court of law which is very rare to get to that stage. There are so many ways to go around so it plays in their favour. Current sets of laws in Western sociaties are heavily leaned towards women and women are taught false sence of emancipation - this all serves only to undermine traditional family values and sets stage for future negative consequences.

For anyone complaining that she didn't get a longer sentence, consider this: "25-to-life" means a minimum of 25 years before parole is considered. No early release, and the "life" part means they can keep her in a cage forever if they don't consider her a candidate for parole after at least the 25. Also..... parole boards don't typically grant parole for offenders that don't openly admit their crime and demonstrate authentic remorse. Life is going to be very difficult for her..... especially knowing that HE now has 100% custody, 100% of all marital assets, and she can be sued for retroactive child support should she ever get out. So much for "grrrl power"!

No one faints and their body is frozen ... if you faint your body goes limp and you would prolly fall out of a chair .... and wouldn’t be unconscious long enough for the paramedics to take you to the hospital

The only person she prevented from seeing her son, was herself, and good job, she’s clearly an unfit human and most certainly an unfit mother

My ex-husband wanted soul custody of our son, so bad, that he got social services involved. When that didn’t work, he was mad. Mad to a point where I feared for my life. I was afraid for my life, and my sons, every time I got into my car.

So why give him 50 years if Ole girl was the "worse"

Poor guy. After all of this, I'm sure Lovejoy's ex-husband will never trust another woman again or at least will have an extremely hard time trusting again.

“Your father was killed when you were 24” and you tried to take a child’s father away? A kid? Over some chic? You’re right where you need to be, you didn’t give a damn about your son then, don’t cry now buddy!

For everyone here complaining about the disparity in sentences, they both received the MAXIMUM that they could get for the crimes they committed. The judge could not give either of them any more than he did. So it’s not racism or sexism. If you’re unhappy, start a petition and present it to the legislators to have the sentences changed. It won’t help this case, but it will going forward.

don't bother, people react with their emotions, not their brains. this is all too complicated for most.

Gotta love how the idiot cameraman kept the camera on the clerk reading the verdict instead of panning over a few seconds sooner to catch her immediate reaction as she heard the guilty verdict. nice job. LOL

25 to life for each charge....and as Vincent said, two charges to one. I think she should've been charged with attempted murder, but, CA laws are probably written too specifically to go that route.
@frankiewilhite73244 жыл бұрын
She should've received just as much, if not more, as the trigger guy. Without her hiring him & lieing to him, there'd have never been an attempt of loss of life. She's pure EVIL. I almost believe this guy was genuinely "tricked" into thinking he was rescuing her & her son

I've seen numerous people faint , I don't remember any with their eyes closed , People who fake fainting are more likely to close their eyes . I've also seen several people do things where they say I think I broke a bone , all were right broken legs and an arm .
