Never gonna happen . False accusations of rape and molestation help to bring in a high percentage of the 11 billion a year in family court in u.s. I was one of the lucky ones who " won" after these false accusations. You just need to have 50k or more of your childrens college money to defend yourself. And no , they are never held accountable

Jonathan Collins, unfortunately it is so easy for them to make these allegations. It is even, in some cases, encouraged by divorce lawyers. Even unfounded allegations serve purpose of stalling or denying (shared) custody of children to father in custody or child welfare hearings, especially when it is coupled with another sets of allegations. In the eyes of general public, sexual abuse can be perpetrated only by male. And there is no protection mechanism against these false allegation unless: 1. woman, herself admitts to, which is highly unlikely or 2. she is found guilty of manufacturing these allegations in court of law which is very rare to get to that stage. There are so many ways to go around so it plays in their favour. Current sets of laws in Western sociaties are heavily leaned towards women and women are taught false sence of emancipation - this all serves only to undermine traditional family values and sets stage for future negative consequences.

@@kaitlinvisser3738 and what about women who falsely accuse men of rape or similar? which is in most cases unprovable. You seem to have it all figured out but not reallly well. My ex managed to get me out of my daughter's life based on false accusations - when first accusations involving my ex didn't work then she came with 2nd set involving my daughter (very young child then). No, I didn't end up in jail, wasn't even charged but was denied access to my daughter - 6 years now. These kind of 'smart' comments and attitude like yours are behind culture we are living in. Women cry wolf and still get their way - what about this as an abuse case jail time?

This is like deja vu for me. My soon-to-be ex-wife also accused me of molesting our child. I was investigated and the results cleared me completely. Later I found out that she had also inquired about getting someone to "take care" of me. The person she asked was so freaked out that she went to the sheriff's department and made a report. I ended up with full custody of my son. That was 20 years ago and I still think about it frequently.

Povang I agree, my father had to talk me out of joining the military and I'm glad he did because my friends were in the marines and some of them went through hell. My Uncle was in Vietnam and I now know how bad our country treats it's military and veterans who come home. The wounded vets hardly get taken care of and rather get told they're mentally insane from the fighting so they are imagining a lot of the pain they're in. Not something I would suggest any kid go into until they're old enough to make an informed decision on what exactly they're risking and how they may be treated by the VA when the action is all over.

I left the program because it was plain to see that our instructor didn't give a shit so long as you made them look good on paper. I thank My Lord I left the university and the sick men an women in the ROTC program alive. 2 years after leaving I become a federal correction officer where i worked with good men and women of the USA military. they change my mind of the military. I regret not going to the US Marshalls back in the day as a young lady looking for a future in military service. God look after the innocence of young men and ladies of the program.

For anyone complaining that she didn't get a longer sentence, consider this: "25-to-life" means a minimum of 25 years before parole is considered. No early release, and the "life" part means they can keep her in a cage forever if they don't consider her a candidate for parole after at least the 25. Also..... parole boards don't typically grant parole for offenders that don't openly admit their crime and demonstrate authentic remorse. Life is going to be very difficult for her..... especially knowing that HE now has 100% custody, 100% of all marital assets, and she can be sued for retroactive child support should she ever get out. So much for "grrrl power"!

Marie55: What's more scary - someone who's willing to kill a complete stranger for a little money or someone who's targeting someone who made them mad? The first person would scare me more because they'd kill anyone at any time, whereas the second person (as horrible as she is) probably wouldn't kill me if I wasn't in their anger orbit.

The thing that's really unbalanced is that the accuser of DV/molestation etc. has automatic anonymity but the accused have their names out there in the public domain being dragged through the mud. Some fuckwits even still believe the poor sod is guilty even though they've been proven innocent. Shit sticks. It's so wrong.

For everyone here complaining about the disparity in sentences, they both received the MAXIMUM that they could get for the crimes they committed. The judge could not give either of them any more than he did. So it’s not racism or sexism. If you’re unhappy, start a petition and present it to the legislators to have the sentences changed. It won’t help this case, but it will going forward.
