My man apparently hates it when I'm polite to him. He's told me numerous times lately that it annoys him and pisses him off because it's not how he was raised. The other day i said "We have to leave... now... please". (The please was added when he was still sitting at the table ignoring me and i was going to be late for an appointment if he didn't get up.) He said to me "Don't say 'PLEEEEASE', just say 'hurry the fuck up'". I said "So you don't want me to be kind and polite to you?", he said, "No just get straight to the point and tell me to hurry the fuck up" 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 That's not who i am, and it seems rude and disrespectful to me. I don't want him talking to me like that, so why would i want to talk to him like that? Help? Advice??

Men sometimes say they feel a bit obsolete and threatened by me as I've alway been a tomboy and my dad who was an engineer taught me how to use tools and be very independent. Although that seems a bit masculine I'm also very feminine and girly, a good cook and know how to look after a man. I get that people who don’t like Brian will just blindly slag off everything he does…people love to hate as pathetic as it is and I get that. But this was genuinely really good advice! We’re in an age where male figures online are constantly telling young men the completely wrong way to act and treat women, it’s nice to hear someone giving some sensible advice for once. My parents split up around 4/5 years ago and my relationship with my dad is nearly nonexistent due to the situation surrounding that.
