This video singlehandedly reminded me how banging most of the Gen 6 NPC designs are golly. Do you have an "average score per generation" stat somewhere?

There are some slight changes that don't reflect the video exactly but felt necessary to do: - I took out the 5 that the male Hulbury gym trainer got since there is no male Hulbury gym trainer. - I counted the older male clerk from Unova, the second male worker from Kalos and Gordie's male gym trainer with mostly improvised scores since they're all drastically different from the designs that were counted and weren't redesigns - I counted the young couples' scores twice since technically they are 2 people. I'm also only 98% sure every single one of the 362 numbers calculated are in the spot they should be in but for the most part this should be pretty close to the actual numbers. Speaking of which: In dead last we have *Sinnoh* (no surprise there) with an average of *5.32* Next is *Galar* in 8th with an average of *5.83* 7th is *Kanto* with an average of *6.16* 6th is *Paldea* with an average of *6.23* 5th is *Johto* with an average of *6.52* 4th is *Unova* with an average of *7.24* Bronze goes to *Alola* with an average of *7.31* *Hoenn* takes silver with an average of *7.4* And in first place with an average of *7.61* is (to the surprise of nobody) *Kalos* I also have individual data on the men and women regionally and as a whole but I didn't want to bloat this reply so I just gave you what you wanted to know.

​​​@@radlaw3476Hey no problem, took a couple hours but I think the data gathered was worth it. I feel like Sinnoh's main problem was BDSP. The awful models for the characters probably drop some characters an entire point or 2 in contrast to the mostly very well done sprite work. As for Galar.... it's literally mostly the male portion's fault for the stats being so low. For reference, the Galar girls by themselves have an average of 7.03 while the boys have an average of 4.67. Probably the most staggering difference in males and females in the series not helped by Galar having the second lowest female average.

@ I will say that I feel like TrueGreen7 and co don’t call people who aren’t conventionally attractive ugly, even if it’s not their taste. Hell, they liked the “ugly” Hiker more than the hot one, which I’m happy for. Just wish we got that kind of diversity with women too. I like how certain important characters resemble normal NPCs. Anabel has the same hair as the other RSE Psychics, Fennel is almost identical to other Scientists of her generation, Aarune is just a raggedy version of the BW Ranger, and Hugh vaguely resembles the HGSS Ace Trainer in terms of color scheme and overall style. That last one is probably a stretch, but even so it's nice to think that the character designers have a strong enough visual language to draw from that allows them to easily communicate each characters' personality.

I think a lot of the phrases used here originate from American drag culture! 'Serving' is a shortened version that generally refers to confidently pulling off what you're wearing. 'It's giving' refers to when an appearance or style evokes a specific idea. Not sure about the other ones, though.

I feel like using BDSP was a massive and I’d argue an unfair nerf to Gen 4 but do I understand the reasoning why you did it but I have to wonder what would the scoring be if you had both sprites. Still though not a bad video. I am a Gen 4 fan so disappointed but it didn’t ruin my viewing experience in any way shape or form.

I personally looked at some of the sprites myself cause I knew BDSP was screwing with Gen 4's chances and I feel like on average they would probably get 1.5 more points than they would initially. There are rarely any cases of a BDSP model being on par with a Gen 4 sprite, let alone *better.*

Outside of the battle maison or battle chateau, there are 4 furisode girls in x and y all being gym trainers in vallerie's gym. they each have their own design and name. Pokemon masters even include them adding 1 of em every new years event. they are Kali, Linnea, Blossom, and Katherine
