Breath of fresh air! I've been on this earth 63 years and you're %100 right, do what works for you. Especially your choice of tools. Name brand tools or in this case spray guns, don't mean jack if you don't know how to use them! You most definitely do not need top end tools to do a quality job its never the tools that get the job done, but the person using the tools and it can be any tool if you know what your doing! Awesome paint job!!!! Keep doing your thing, cause your DAMN GOOD AT IT!

I am an old white boy from the south, and you are spot on. IMO, there are those that can paint, and then there are those that go through the motions with all the gadgets of painting. Back in the day I bought and sold Camaros, and had a guy that did his painting in a very small garage in east Dayton, we made some money on the side. One night he was doing a TransAm for me and I watched him literally take a run out by just keeping spraying, I thought he ruined all the work, but it was beautiful. He also wet his floors and walls before he started. You do fantastic work!!!!!

I painted cars for 35 years and i have always said a spray gun dont make a painter. I have over a dozen trophys for show cars bikes and jet boats and they were all painted with cheap spray guns. A good paint job starts with prep. Good quality paint and talent to do the work. , if its not ppg or sikkens top shelf i dont use it. You get what you pay fmattewhen you buy cheap matterials your sacrificing something. When i started the only paint available was laquer. Primer. Spot putty. Sealer. Color and clear. Everything was laquer. Those were the days of truly amazingly talented painters.

Beautiful work. An intuitive man painting using his intuition. Maybe thinkers should paint like robots, feeling types should paint with their hearts - and all will get excellent results. This painter has painted his way into a connection with his soul. He could write a book on how to actualize one's inner being; better yet, he made a painting video. Thank you sir.

If youve been painting with 2 part paint for 14 years without a fresh air mask and tyveck suit it fucking amazing your still alive, Im not gonna try and convince you that your killing yourself you think you know better, so fill yur boots, but anybody watching this, THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. 2 part paints contain isocyanate, it is extremely dangerous, some people can tolerate exposure much more than other, like this fellow, but eventually even he will be affected and will no oonger be able to tolerate any further exposure. To bad too, hes doing some beautiful work but its not worth dieing over.

An old head told me years ago about using Vaseline on his skin and face back when we used lead and isocyanate based paint. Clogs all the pores in your skin and keeps it from soaking in, makes sense now but being young I lmao at him, wasn't in my plans to be greasy and sweaty while painting lol you could tell the last 3 cars I painted by the color of my skin 😂 next day he didn't have a spot on him
