It is so sweet Jason's acknowledgement of the fact that the last time he tried to keep Sonny and Carly together it was a win for him because he took Sam in and she made him think what he wanted for his life and what made him happy. At the same time, he realized that he can't spent his life being a peace keeper between Sonny and Carly because he can't put his life on hold and they just need to figure things out by themselves. Nevermind that the decision that Jason made to take Sam in allowed them to fall in love. Also, it helped Jason realized that Sam was his Bonnie to his Clyde. But most importantly, with Sam, Jason found the only person in his life that truly accepted, understood and supported him for who he was and what he did unconditionally without any judgements something he never had in any of his previous romantic relationships. For, when Jason fell in love with Sam that was it for him. With Sam, Jason found more than true love. He found happiness, joy and all his heart's desires. With Sam Jason finally found a home.
