Let's analyze this situation. According to Bridgette's testimony before the Judge Courtney told her to "go after dreams and to fight for her dreams" which is not bad advice when dealing with a stable normal teenager. But when dealing with a problematic teenager with anger issues, drug and alcohol problems and only God knows what other psychological issues before giving such advice you need to make sure that the teen was seeing a counselor or a mental health professional so they could guide the teen to put every piece of advice in context and the teen could start making better decisions for himself or herself towards a better and brighter future. For instance, during this hearing the good advice that Courtney gave Bridgette, she used it as an excuse to claim her daughter without thinking things through just like when she gave the baby up for adoption. Bridgette was volatile, unpredictable and had many issues to work out and work through. Which by the way, if Courtney would have known anything about her own job she should have known that Bridgette needed to be classified as at risk teen. Said classification, would have allowed her foundation and state agencies to provide Bridgette with all the necessary help and assistance that she desperately needed. But just like it happened with Diego, another example of an at risk teen, that Courtney couldn't handled and couldn't control. Here they are before a Judge without a plan for an at risk teen that has no idea of what to do with her life or how to carry with the consequences of her own actions. For, if Courtney would've done her homework, Bridgette would have been in counseling or under a psychological treatment and her counselors would have prepared a treatment plan for her. And only after completing said treatment plan they would have discussed the possibility of getting her daughter back and they would have worked on a comprehensive plan to accomplish said goal. But Courtney didn't think about anything like that. Hence, we are incline to believe that whether consciously or not Courtney did influence Bridgette's decision. However, there was one undeniable fact behind Courtney's motivations and intentions, she still wanted to be relevant in Jason's life. Also, she still was in love with Jason and that's why she couldn't accept the fact that he had moved on with Sam because he was in love with her. Courtney couldn't accept that Jason has found in Sam someone that truly accepts, supports, understands and loves him unconditionally without any judgements. It's hard for Courtney to accept it because she couldn't do it, especially because she loves Jason. Finally, we have to say that we were left wondering what kind of Children's Foundation Courtney was running because it didn't seem like she was doing an efficient job. First, she couldn't control Diego and now she couldn't provide sound advice and counseling for Bridgette. Blessed be!

For real. Even if was a children's charity for children were abused and neglected children she shouldn't have any part of this custody case she's not a lawyer, a counselor, she doesn't know the girl got pregnant she just wants use the girl and her baby to get Jason back. Because when she pregnant with Sonny's child Courtney knew Sonny would be their with this baby was something they could Bond over together and wasn't linked to anyone but them.

@@ElvisRose_ Also Courtney used the miscarriage to play on his guilt and grief that he didn't save her in time. First of Courtney you jumped into freezing water. And you didn't tell Jason for weeks you were pregnant. That's all on you. But you used the miscarriage to keep chained to you so you try rebuild something you never really had

Look at the look on Courtney's face while Sam is talking to the judge, that look let's you know she was envious of their relationship and wanted that baby away from them. Courtney was very spiteful and playing innocent in front of Jason when she knew all along that she didn't want them together. Courtney never wanted Sam to have that baby she was very lowdown 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️

For once we think that Carly's plan could have worked. Alcázar could have been persuasive enough to convince Bridgette to go through with the adoption. Especially, if he was motivated by trying to score points with Carly. Blessed be!
