All who know me know I am a Keaggy freak. In 2001, I wasn't sure I'd live to see 2002. I had wanted to see Phil before I passed away if that was going to be my reality. Phil came to Austin and that day I felt as bad as one could feel and where he was playing pretty far away but I went anyway. A great few hours to take my mind off of things but here we are, 2016 and we both are still trucking. God Bless Mr. Keaggy. God talks to me through your music. Here comes the Son!

Keagy is as crisp as it comes. Finger pickin master on that beautiful Olson guitar. Mastery at its ultimate. I love that Phil is at the forefront of guitar technology.

I am not the same person since I heard Phil Keaggy play his heavenly sounds! Since then I've been playing the guitar myself for over 30 yrs. Thanks Phil, for the incredible gift that you've let the earth enjoy!

No one else plays like this. Except maybe those who have sat under his tutoring. He will always be my favorite guitarist. The first time i saw him was in 1973,and i am still blown away at his virtuosity.

How encouraging and good it is to see a seasoned master guitarist acknowledge Jesus Christ and being zealous to give glory to God Who gave him his talent! Thank you Mr. Keaggy for being a blessing to the Body of Christ and an inspiration to guitarists! May our Father bless and keep you and your family! may the LORD be glorified in our lives till the day we die! See in Heaven dear brother, if I don't get to meet you before that time.

It's funny, not ha ha funny but, very strange how you can "feel" the clarity of a person's soul through the music he creates...I am mesmerized watching this gentleman..enraptured...he just literally "reeks" with "giftedness"...it is astounding what music does for the spirit and soul...especially when it lacks "commercialism" and is just played and enjoyed for the sake of itself...PRICELESS

Is it possible to play through the Dual Tap Delay with a dryer sound than what is heard in this video? In all the videos I've watched I always hear the 'Shimmer' effect (or ambient sound for anyone else reading this comment) of the buffer. Always a pleasure to see and hear Mr. Keaggy play. Great pedals too!

oh dang, he's playing "Just the Same" there at the beginning. One of my favorite riffs. And "Like an Island" later. And everything in between! The man has actually gotten better in the past fifteen years, and I did not think such a thing was possible. Also, what the heck were those capos with the buttons on them? That's insane.
