Kasual reminder that found slots do not equate to those slots being filled. Happened too many times that people get disappointed by this. Also they really need to make some adjustments to this game for kasuals I feel, story mode expansion for one. But also something else to keep playing, I would never have thought id miss the towers.

If they bring back Nightwolf ... which I am completely cool with ... 2 suggestions. #1. Call him Grey Cloud. Since identities and past lives are being messed around with in MK1 ... reintroduce an old favorite with a new, but accurate, name to go with the flow. #2. There should be a special ability whenever Nightwolf / Grey Cloud fights Peacemaker! If Peacemaker calls for Eagly ... Nightwolf / Grey Cloud can call on the spirit of Hana to momentarily affect Eagly and cause it to attack Peacemaker. This could open the doors to specialized counter attacks based on fighter matches!

Probably an unpopular opinion but: Taven. Even though he was made specifically for Armageddon they didn't do much with him. He was only mentioned in arcade snippets in X but again nothing happened and 11 could've been a nice time to reintroduce but again we got squat. I honestly sometimes feel he has it worse than Tsu Hao

Hmm for Shinnok, I like the idea of him being good but getting corrupted by quan chi and falling. Kind of like how in an arcade ending shinnok's amulet is actually quan chi sealed. So in this timeline, quan chi can create the amulet which makes shinnok fall

okay imagine nightwolf but he is working with jax and kenshi in the CIA (or whatever it is because I forgot its name) and he is always going undercover for them but when he does fight he can activate his spirits which each give him whole new movesets and for his fatal blow and some of his special moves he can turn into certain animals.

If this game is going to be the comeback game for 3D era characters, I want the characters back that were limited by the game they appeared in. I love the idea of Kai doing capoeira, Drahmin had a lot of potential, I even kinda want Kira back instead of Kano and Sonya (or Sonya being like Kira). Hotaru can't be missed out on, especially if the story mode expansion focusses on Titan Havik (I kinda want Titan Havik to be playable too, being able to use the morning star again, but he should be free in that case maybe). Shujinko would be cool and it seems like they are hinting at a return of him in some sort anyway. Kinda want him to be the TTT2 Combot of the game, but I know it's too much to wish for haha.I also love the idea of the ninja's being half cybernized. They need to do something new with them I feel. I actually really liked their human forms better in MK9. So I hope they go a half/half route.

If they add cyborgs then it should be either Triborg or Cyborg Sub Zero. Overall, Kintaro, Shinok, Nightwolf, and Chameleon are overdue. It would be interesting to get Scarlet as a kameo and put her with Nitara. Kabal could work well either way as a kameo or playable. As a never before played character, Kronika would fit in when they release the second part of the story.

I'm a fan of the compilation fighters, as I call them, the ones that have every character from previous, like Trilogy and Armageddon, and this one would be in the perfect position to be another one, though it's unlikely to get that much DLC. However, as a compromise, I'd be interested in there be at least each game represented, with at least one character introduced in the game shown here. This includes the side-games, and as it stands we don't have many left to fit representation for every game into it (even if you count UMK3 and Trilogy as separate from MK3--though you can't include Gold as separate from 4, as it didn't introduce anybody new to the series). So, my suggestions: From Shaolin Monks - Inferno Scorpion, or possibly go wild and do something like Orochi Hellbeast From Armageddon - Taven, or introduce a Kreate a Fighter mode, if he's omitted (either way, it could be a fun way to bring back Kreate-a-Fatality, since neither has their own signature fatality) From vs. DC Universe - Dark Kahn is the only character created for the game, but having Deathstroke as DLC could fit just as well From 9 - Skarlet (though considering it's a new timeline, that would mark her three-for-three in getting a new backstory in every game she appears) Sure, there's Onslaught, too, but I don't know much about it, as mobile games aren't my thing. Does it even have anybody new in it?

Some of these characters sound like safe bets but I’m not fully convinced their inclusions are secured, NRS has cancelled planned dlc waves in the past. On top of WB getting worse with their audience, it wouldn’t surprise me if at least 2 characters return as part of the story expansion. If that does become the case, Kai feels like a safe bet for a kameo slot alongside someone like Fujin (though I’m not sure if Fujin will return as dlc again) or even Kintaro.
