Brother, Is church the ship or God the ship because these days it is very hard to find good churches. All have become more like prosperity gospel centers. How many are training us to live as a Christian and as a pilgrim and sojourner on this earth fulfilling God's will? Are we living like Ambassadors of Christ on this earth or as heavenly citizens? These days churches teach about earthly blessings not about heavenly blessings. How many are teaching the following and how many are seeking and following the below verses or atleast understand the meaning of the following verses which I was reading yesterday and today? Matthew 6:19-21,24,31-34 [19]“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; [20]but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. [21]For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. [24]“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. [31]“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32]For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. [33]But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. I think the ship could be the Holy Spirit also. The oil in the lamp in the parable of the ten virgins is the thing that will protect us during the flood of the end times.
