I gotta say, the RTX is really growing on me especially after seeing yours and Foxy’s videos. A lot of RTX builds/videos I’ve seen are too... shiny, I guess? Like really focused on the reflective metals and the glass and stuff. But just seeing it enhancing the regular vanilla world is very easy on the eyes. I like it a lot more than most shaders I’ve seen too, the lighting and everything seems more natural. The glass is *beautiful*!!

guardians glitch out of trident killers frequently unless you build walls 2-3 block thick around them, and the tridents eventually vanish, break, or something and need to be replaced from time to time, keep a conduit in the temple, hunt some drowned for 🔱 s

I would move the AKF spot to the right more to try and get the 2 right portals before the left 4 portals are outside the spawn area. (Left vs Right-I’m talking about the size with portals not so close to each other)

For your trident farm you should have a central system where you press a button and it will switch between the three modes, like not at each cell just one central one that will activate different amounts of red stone lines

Im confused. On Silent Wisperers guardian farm, i found a spot that allows for spawns in all 4 corners and only prevents the very central one from working. This was on sim. Dis. 4 because it was on realms.

Editing the texture packs turns out to be pretty easy. I had one texture pack where the glass was invisible and so was the water. I swiped the water assets from a separate pack and plopped them in, and I made a custom png for the clear glass, to give it a subtle outline.

I recomend you to use Trully vanilla RTX Sahder, it has a lot of addons (clear glass, mirrors, glowing ores, glowing terracota, etc etc)

Each time you purify a villager they get like a 25 or so emerald permanent discount, kind of like in java. At least on the secondary trade of each lvl of the villager. The social discount thing is pretty lame but purifying the villager you want discounts on is pretty sweet.

Also been working on a guardian farm based on your old model this week. I thought the old style trident killers were broken? Is it different for guardians? Using the 4 piston model I woul mention I think doing 2 come blocks and 2 magma blocks for the floor is helpful. Magma blocks are also how I'm planning on working out the guardian in the water stream issue, but curious to try slabs instead of trapdoors first.

I love you last guardian farm. Built the over world only design it in a few different worlds. With the most recent updates causing XP to float in water, some of the XP orbs inevitably get stuck in the kill chambers. After reading through a lot of comments on that tutorial, I found that changing the slabs keeping the guardians in to trapdoors helped a lot. However, some orbs still get stuck. It’s not enough to break the farm. I can still afk for long periods, and it seems like I get about %90 of the XP generated. However that %10 or so left behind creates lag. Not enough to crash the game (I assume it de-spawns and builds back up to an equilibrium), but it is kinda annoying. I can turn the farm off, walk around each cell and pick up the stuck orbs through the glass. Perhaps some detail I didn’t pick up on in this new design solves that problem. Is any case, it would be really cool if you to address this issue at some point. A lot of recent comments on that old tutorial lead me to believe that the problem is pretty common, and I think your fans would appreciate some discussion on it. Like your channel, thanks
