Assalaamu alaykum. How do we deflect the fitnah of those who call towards adhering only to one madhab, and is it correct that this is termed as Taqleed? Someone told me, what is the most prevalent madhab in your country, you stick to that madhab.. I've heard this mentioned before as well in a khutbah and a brother who is upon the manhaj as-Salaf many years after this occurence told me that that was not the way of the scholars who are upon the manhaj as-Salaf as they would look into who has the strongest evidence from the 4 madhaahib. Now I become little confused about this. Aren't the 4 madhabs upon the sunnah, and if so where did the differing between them sprout from? Would appreciate if a video clarifying this can be put out by the brothers who studied under the ulaamah, baarak Allahu feekum

Some of the ‘ulema take the view that photography is haram as per the hadiths regarding image-makers: Ibn 'Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Every image-maker will be in the Fire, and for every image that he made a soul will be created for him, which will be punished in the Fire." Ibn 'Abbaas said: "If you must do that, make pictures of trees and other inanimate objects." (Reported by Muslim, 3/1871) Dr Abdulilah Lahmani might take the opinion that photos come under image-making. And Allah Knows best.

Taking pictures and images of living beings is not permissible in Islam so the face has been blurred Videos for the purpose of calling people to Islam and spreading knowledge has been given an allowance which is why he is not blurred in the video
