Yes, KnitPicks Stroll is a great, soft commercial yarn! A little on the thin side as far as sock yarn goes, I think, but washes and wears very well, in my experience.

Hi Lizzie and Nancy it’s good to see you again NANCY I follow you all the time and of course I’m in Lizzie‘s wardrobe tool box. I do home health and I am taking care of a vet now as we speak trying to get him out into the world and I’m on my very first sock and I’m down to the toe. I’ve had to build confidence each step of the way, but I’ll be on my way this yearand sewing. I want to make garments sewing and knitting in 2025.

Good Wool Hunting has an enormous range of sock yarn, including Opal, Signature 4ply by West Yorkshire Spinners, Hosuband aran weight sock yarn from Iceland, and NEW Arcadia by Scheepjes etc ❤

Great podcast. I am swatching for a color work sock. I started on dpn's and I was struggling. So I went hunting for a 9" circular, in a 2.5 mm. I have every size in my ChiaoGoo's but that one. So, I grabbed a Zing. Bad Bad Bad. The join was terrible. In the trash they are going. I was able to get the knitting on a magic loop. I am just checking out how the colors play together and working on gauge. I may have to go to the LYS tomorrow.

Nancy also has a full proof method for closing those little holes where the gusset joins - I use it all the time now and it’s practically miraculous!
