Truma Combi Finally Fixed - Error E101H - Mission Overland Summit

Hey Brad, glad you finally got your trailer back and the heater sorted out. 2 months is a long time!! Enjoy your winter camping. Yes being self reliant and able to fix our own trailers is key in my mind. And my vote for a user group forum.

Hey man! Few things.. What did they have to do to the trailer to get the Combi out? Was it just take the door off or did they have to take the top of the bed off? How hard/easy was it to flip the door around? What did you use for a sealant? Did you video the process? We used silicone calk around the top of both doors and windows, they seem to leak at the right angle when sitting or at the right speed when traveling. So I was thinking about resealing all four when I had some spare time. Everyone loves gear videos! ⚙ And yes! Start a forum for the Mission brand trailers. The only thing out there is KZbin comments or an endless, unorganized thread on Expedition Portal. If you need any help with moderation, let me know!

Hey! They needed to remove the kitchen slider (or loosen it up a little) and removed the door. Then they were able to shimmy it out of the opening, with one person one the outside and one on the inside through the door under the bed. I’m guessing that this was not super fun. Haha. It was not too bad to swap the door back to the correct orientation. There are about 8 clips and screws holding the door on from the inside, not super easy to reach all of them, but doable. I used sikaflex sealant, not the adhesive (used in the boating to seal things up). I will work on the gear video here shortly, so be on the lookout! And I should have the forum up and running here soon, planning by the end of the month. And would love assistance with moderation. I’m also disappointed with Expedition Portal and Facebook. Looking forward to getting this up and running to provide a quality location for us to share all things Mission Overland!

On.the Approach there's a panel under the bed to get down to the Truma

There is a panel to access the Truma, but it is not large enough for the Truma to fit out on the Summit. I wish it was that easy for the Summit :).
