Narret interesting proposal. Here is the question, would they seek to do so? I ask this because a lot of our older beautiful architectures in the world only exist because a want for aesthetic, mainly correlating to religious purposes, rather than the 'normal' way of making buildings that optimize space.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Few artists make 3D fractal videos as high quality as you do. And I absolutely love the fact that you chose to make this 60 fps. The only negative part to this is KZbin's video compression, which sorta ruins some of the more intricate patterns. Do you think you could upload the original video file to a file hosting/sharing site? Also, do you think you'll ever make higher resolution videos? I would absolutely love to view some of your art in native 4K. I do understand that it would make rendering much longer, though.

@browngrafix9 жыл бұрын
+Stefan C Thanks Stefan. There's probably a way to correct the shadows, but I'm not sure how. Yeah, the MB3D hard shadows feature could really use a "rel to object" option.
@AM-ui9mc9 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by moving? Since by default lights follow the camera the shadows will naturally move. Try set the lighter to "relative to object" if that's what you're looking for
@stefancharon70829 жыл бұрын
Jacob Kielan I tried that, but it seemed to give me the same results.

Haven't tried Mandelbulb yet, but it seems to me the view frustum clips points out of the view to some extend. So when the camera moves, structures out of the view frustum that are used to calculate the shadows randomly clip and vanish. If that is indeed the case, it is a problem of Mandelbulb, it should use a fixed environment for shadow calculation instead...
