20 big cats in a Washington state reserve died over Christmas from bird flu. Cows in CA have been getting bird flu. It’s been found in raw milk for weeks now. Now it’s in GA. Makes me wonder what other states in between have it.

It is in the wild cougar here in WA too, two confirmed cases but probably more (sick cougars reported). The Sanctuary where the big cats died is 40 miles away from me (and I have chickens) so very concerning...also was in Caspian terns and transmitted to seals here locally. But it is not able to jump human to human yet so that is good! One mutation away though.

Re covid, one of my grandkids had what looked like covid in December 2019. It was the strangest bout of flu we had ever seen. Kid was very sick with symptoms that turned out to be the classics back then. It was here before Jan 2020.
