Karoo? I drove across SA many years ago on 4 wheels. Drove through the Karoo Desert and went to Steelport, which is a mining place. Went into the diner style place at the dusty crossroads where the miners go, most of them still in their orange work gear. They don’t often get some young (then) English chap walk in and ask for Chilli bites. Stayed at a farm along the road and was woken up every so often by explosions as they dynamited the rock. I was told there used to be a mountain/hill over there, but it was mined away. Anyway seeing your location reminded me of that… Enjoy the biking!

I disagree. Francis (and his team) have helped me quite a lot with good advice. He doesn't get it right every single time and he doesn't have a crystal ball but he understands the big picture and he always asks how he can be wrong. I have been watching him for several years and I have also taken his course and I found it very valuable.
