This sort of relates why I feel that the Roe v. Wade movie hasn't been released, Brad described it on his Midnight Screenings as such a batshit insane spectacle that I think the producers held the release back to water down the crazy in editing. Because if it had been released as Brad described it we would be talking about a movie liberals would ironically watch just to laugh at it.

Oh, and about that guy who mentions performing a sex act on Obama--his name is Larry Sinclair, and he had a rather bizarre press conference in 2008, to put it mildly; among other things (including providing scant evidence for his allegations against Obama and managing the feat of being arrested after the press conference on outstanding warrants), he had a lawyer (who had been suspended at the time for being a vexatious litigant--against his ex-wife) who wore a kilt to the conference and, when questioned, said that it was because his private parts were bigger than average and wearing a kilt made him more comfortable. I am NOT making this up (I wish I were, though)...

This isn't the first time, Santa (or at least a version of him) has trouble with a hired killer: Check out the wonderful "Hogfather" which is kinda like a cross between this here and Nightmare Before Christmas - not with songs, but also with another anthropomorphic personification taking over the role of the fat man while he's gone. Only here it's not the Pumpkin King... Can even be found here on youtube. I highly recommend it. It's a shame, I thought Fatman was a wasted premise. You're right - Santa, the kid and the assassin *are awesome* on screen. I honestly don't even know why the military subplot has to even exist. Just go whole hog and make the Elves all the "throw away" guards to be killed, or have Santa call in some soldiers because he knows the guy is coming because Santa powers. ***spoiler*** I'm also kind of annoyed by the Santa immortality powers. Like oh, there was no stakes the whole time? Thanks for wasting my time then movie. Like I say though, the three main cast members give it their all and play it perfectly.

Regarding the review of Trump Card, I was already writing a completely different comment within the first ten minutes, deleted it, and then went with this after listening to ALL of the review: This was a legit critique of a documentary made from someone on my side of the political aisle. Fair points were made. If you're going to make a pro-capitalism, anti-socialism movie, that's an extremely easy argument to make. It doesn't have to be as complex and dramatic as this movie makes it. Capitalism is objectively better than socialism. That's the main point that gets lost in bad special effects, random editing, and BS accusations that Obama got head from some crackhead in Chicago. If you have to claim that Obama got head from some crackhead in Chicago to critique socialism, you're doing it wrong.

@Brother Sanguinary Put it this way. There isn't a successful economy in the world that isn't rooted in some way to capitalism. Even China has elements of capitalism driving its economy.

I mean, the radical socialist party in France (Parti républicain, radical et radical-socialiste) was in charge of it during WW2, they didn't fill France up with Marxist imagery, instead they invented the 40-hour work week in 1936 and were the centrists in French politics because they were sandwiched between the French Communist Party and Democratic Republican Alliance. Despite being a "radical socialists" concept, the US adopted the 40 hour workweek as standard in 1940 and I haven't heard much of a backlash against it.
