Actually it's not that they hate each other, it's that ahune thinks he's way better than rag but rag doesnt really care. You see, Ahune was an itty bitty boss for some time, and was declared the most killed by any given player. So Blizzard decided to go for the "jealous loser" personality for him, and seeing as he's just ice ragnaros, decided ragnaros would be his "rival". That is, if I understood everything right and didnt trip over a fact like a scooter on a 3 foot rock.
