it's true, I and most other people would've picked ice block, but decks with mana wyrm are usually tempo oriented and don't really have a need for ice block, they tend to prefer getting other tempo-based secrets out more quickly, and Kirin Tor Mage allows you to do that perfectly, so there was a lot of logic in his decision.

It displeases them. An extreme example but what if the thumbnail was something extremely disturbing / offensive? You only "...look at it for a split second..." anyway, so why does it matter? The fact that the thumbnails are potentially what pulls new viewers into videos, means the quality of the thumbnail is important.

Not really. It's good assumption to guess that a rogue is playing miracle, and the sheer amount of damage Velen can pump there is unacceptable. He'd probably have lost anyway because he couldn't remove the giant, but there's the possibility of holding on for a few turns and drawing something that will save you, like the Lich King.

If he had used Dragonfire Potion to kill his own Velen on his turn, the rogue would have played his turn the exact same, except Trump would have 8 more health but he wouldn't have a board clear for the next turn. He would still die to the Giant+Auctioneer+Flower and whatever else the Rogue would do that following turn. Trump was dead either way, and saving the board clear for Flower + friends for the following turn was easily worth the risk of taking an extra evis or two worth of damage to the face.

Have you tried running Kazakus raza priest with dragons for late game? I've tried it and it works fairly well. It needs stronger early game though and I am trying to fit in some stronger cards without making it hard for dragon synergy.

It doesnt really help his deck much, if the mage has enough burn to kill him one turn hes not going to be able to heal himself enough to prevent a kill the next turn, and he likely wouldnt have enough burst to take advantage of one extra turn like a mage can, it would just set him back to play it at all, which makes it just a poor tempo play that delays the inevitable

The iceblock was the correct choice. almost every mage deck runs it, and with kazakas priest he could save it as a cheep spell for priest of the feast if nothing else. It also give one more turn if your opponent is trying to kill him with burn. Even without burn or healing, you can kill your opponent with a large board using the extra turn you got from iceblock, and shadow reaper means that you might have some burn by the time you get block popped. It wouldn't be kirin tor mage anyway, because sectret mage runs iceblock.

See, small game design tips. Roadhog's hook grabs an enemy, pulling them towards you. This: -Punishes bad positioning -Allows Roadhog disrupt the enemy -Puts the enemy in a situation where they now have to deal with a roadhog. See, what makes Roadhog's hook good was that if you got hooked, it was your fault. You weren't with your team or checking your flanks or watching out for the hog. And then, if you survive the hook combo, you're now in a completely different situation where your goal is to either survive or kill the roadhog. Roadhog's hook punishes when appropriate and can bring diversity into the game. Good design Ice Block however, does this: -Punishes the opponent for winning -Gives you an opportunity for very little cost -Does not add or take anything from the game, just stalls it. It's uninteresting, very simple with a high reward, and isn't fun to deal with or use. It's poorly defined and adds nothing to the game aside from secret synergy and allowing mage's to get that one extra thing to end your board/the game. It actively punishes you for being good. Bad design.
