For those who may have medical experience or have had family members do this, it usually is referenced back to a mini stroke. It’s a fugue, same as Mitch’s fugues. There’s a variation in how much an individual can or will keep moving. Mitch moves slightly as well, if you look at it, and he’s able to be led off. I had them years ago, associated with a brain injury and hormonal imbalance. I drove home during one, but don’t remember it, and couldn’t talk for hours. Most of them just prevented me from saying anything for a few moments no matter how hard I tried at first. And I never remembered these. Apparently, fugue states are a dementia symptom also. I didn’t know that until I saw Mitch do the thing and I was like omg did he hit his head?
