I'm trying to. I just moved to North Carolina and I was not told that the soonest DMV appointment I could get was in January. I still have an ID from another state and I'm also still registered to vote in another state. The local government in Durham North Carolina need to do better. If the DMV is THAT unaccessible to the point where people might lose their ability to vote this year, it's a huge problem.
