SERVICE & TRANSITIONS -- 👍 great Employees at every level were awesome: warm personalities & eager to accommodate ❤️. Not just pleasant to interact with, but efficient too. On top of that, it's a pet friendly property & they don't slouch on the turnovers. Hospitality still pales in comparison to the visuals: gold paints, gold accents, & gold windows🤩. A brilliantly executed design that felt decadently luxurious, yet tasteful. One of the brightest, cleanest, & glossiest interiors you'll find in Vegas. FYI: The public spaces are chaos during checkout hour.⚠️ MVP employees: all 🤔 ROOM [1BR Suite] -- 👍 great A well-appointed room if there ever was one. Turnover was immaculate, not just "clean", & smelled heavenly. Impressive for a suite with dimensions big enough to lease. Tabletop space felt endless & the furnishings were the epitome of comfort; our couch was more comfortable than wherever you're reading this review from (no offense). Weaker areas: Lightning isn't comparable to the public spaces, but floor-to-ceiling windows & a captivating view solved that problem. Ergonomics are lacking for remote work & outlet distribution is poor. Bring an extension cord if you're a techie or plan to game+stream. ⚠️ BED [King] -- 👍 great Exquisite 😭. A lush & cozy duvet, clean high quality Egyptian cotton bedding, plump king-size pillows, & a custom Serta mattress. Easily one of my top 3 sleeping arrangements in Vegas so far (Palms & Mandalay Bay). BATH -- 👎 ok "Spacious" would be an understatement; the space was massive & covered in dazzling marble. The convenience of 2 FULL bathrooms was * chefs kiss * & the toiletries line (diamond natura bisse) was remarkable. The not-so-good: Plumbing was not on-par with the rest of the installation -- water pressure was meager & temperature were unpredictable. The hand shower in our guest bath was in need of repair, spraying water everywhere. Lastly, but most importantly, the tub jets no longer work. This was a letdown as they're still mentioned in the marketing (all hype 😞). ACTIVITIES/TV SOLUTION -- 👍 good ~40" LCD HD TV's mounted in the entertainment center. The channel selection was extensive & the OS+remote were hassle free. Unfortunately, for the size of these units (900+ sqft), the display size is unbalanced. Other leisurely indulgences include: Spa services: (huge menu; limited hours) & a gigantic outdoor heated pool open 7am-7pm. WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- 👍 good 3 unencrypted WiFi tiers: Free - ~5Mb Enhanced - 10Mb @ 9.99 😕 Premium - 15Mb @ $14.99 😑 We stuck to the free option, considering how egregiously overpriced the others were... Connecting initially was cumbersome. Afterwards it's smooth sailing. It benchmarks well & the QoS is properly tuned, throughput is just low obvs. --Performance-- Video streaming - good Online gaming - great Video chatting - great --Nerd Stats-- 3-5 Mbps download 4-23 Mbps upload 0% packet loss 22 ms latency 12 ms jitter FOOD & DRINK -- 👎 ok Not DoorDash friendly (delivery apps are generally a hassle in Vegas anyway). Room service was surprisingly modern & allergen aware for a legacy hotel. So we tried the Chickens Wings (BBQ) & All-American breakfast. Room service was often quicker than bell service, that was impressive. The wings were delicious, despite the depressing presentation & portions. Eggs were also tasty. Leagues better than the breakfast steak (not worth the $17 upcharge) & burnt toast that came with it. The kitchen provided access to a lot of convenient appliances. It did not however, feature a complete or robust set of utensils for cooking. Same for the cookware. Plan accordingly if you're hoping to cook 🧑🍳. in-room: ✅microwave (full size) ✅mini-fridge (full size) ✅coffee/tea ❌ wet-bar ❌ mini-bar NOISE -- 👍 great The way this building is architected + training of the staff is the ultimate combo. We were happily lost in our own little bubble the entire time 😌. LOCATION -- 👍 great I felt safe as a minority in the property & surrounding area. Security protocols were well-conducted & consistent. Best of all: Fashion Show Mall Is right across the street (200+ stores🤯). Valet parking available. RECOMMENDATION & RATING Final Price: $94.11/night Was it worth it: yes Best part: hospitality The decor, management, & accommodations exceeded our expectations in many ways. Food service quality wasn't as noteworthy, but it didn't feel stuck in the past either (a la Mandalay Bay). An area this accommodation did not deliver in was the bath experience; our biggest motivator in booking. I could see myself staying here again though & would recommend it. 4/5 ⭐️
