I dont know why I feel the need to explain to you how it works, but here you go: Presidents can order the border to be closed against people, regardless of your VISA status, provided he considers the decision to be in the best interest of the country. Yeah he placed a ban on Nigeria but a couple of friends travel to Nigeria and came back without being stop or disallow from entering the state . Boarder can only be closed provided there is security issues or emergency alert (serious one ) . You have your valid visa and you have not committed any crimes, you will be allow back to the state . For immigrants coming to the state for the first time , you can only be disallow from entering the state if they find misrepresentation of any kind with your application for getting visa, if you can't answer normal questions at the the boarder Baba

Truth is, things at the port of entry have started changing this January leading up to 20th and will continue to do so. I know 2 people who spent almost 30 minutes answering questions at the point of entry. They even asked one her advisor’s phone number. Things are changing whether we like it or not
