@carlmeeks8632. Whenever I see or hear the word "Trumpanzee", I recall seeing a hairy, smelly critter at the Abilene,TX. zoo. It would alternately run to and fro, jump up and down, screech, and fling feces at the onlookers. My toddler self was certain that it would grab me through the bars. I now have sorrow for that poor animal, which had no choice in being locked up. I will have no sympathy for those who've become locked-in by choice to T.H.E. Turning it back on them, a quote from George Taylor (Charlton Heston) regarding apes might seem appropriate. When I dopped off my absentee ballot for HARRIS/WALZ at the city clerk office this morning, it was like a weight off my chest. No matter what happens on November 5th, I cast my vote against fascism, against hatred, against fear, and instead put my faith in our democracy and the ideals of what this country was founded on. As a "childless cat man," my opinion means nothing to the GOP, but I love this country more than they do and I genuinely respect our Constitution and the rule of law! Assuming our country survives this madness, what side of history do YOU want to be on? You'd better think about this question really, really carefully. You'd better actually read and listen to opinions that contradict your own with an open mind before you unwittingly cast a vote for ending your way of life as you've always known it, and especially the lives of your children! Some of us are students of history. Some of us obviously aren't. You think I'm overreacting?? OPEN A BOOK. Look up Roy Cohn. Look up McCarthyism.
