Yeah. Even if I didn't object to the idea of pardons in the first place (at least in their current state), the idea that you can pardon someone for entire lengths of time for crimes they haven't even been charged with yet is absurd. At bare minimum, it should only be applicable to ongoing trials or past convictions, it should be only be applicable for one crime per person per presidency, and it should VERY clearly state EXACTLY what crime you're being pardoned for.
