Our Constitution never ended all of slavery. It allows for convicted criminals to be used for labor in labor camps. My fear is the US increasing the arrest and conviction rates so it can force convicted criminals to work on farms, ranches, and other labor-shorted jobs and claim that they are being taught skills and being rehabilitated. They're gone. In my neighborhood I've seen many homes for sale or rent in recent days when you couldn't find a home for sale. As it is it's hard for businesses to fill positions. Service in the food industry has fallen to a point where frankly you just eat at home. You can imagine what it's going to do to food prices.
