In the show when Seth talks about Russia investigation with a picture of trump and map of Russia on the background I can clearly see that Ukraine shown there as a part of Russian territory. As a Ukrainian I find this offensive. So if this reaches somebody who responsible for making graphics for show, PLEASE correct the image and exclude the Ukraine from that map. Johnny dotson: I will defend both Ford and Carter. Ford: Can you remember anything serious that happened under Ford other than the pardon of Nixon? The nation was massively divided, the US dollar was heading towards hyperinflation, and Nixon had just admitted defeat in Vietnam and created a system of wage and price controls. Given this, the fact that no major bad thing left over from Nixon came to pass suggests that Ford must have done something right. Ford tried the "sell harder" speech to try to get businesses to push more products into the market place. This shows that he knew what the inflation problem was and was trying to solve it without making a serious recession. Carter: When Carter took office, there was an extremely grim choice to make. Nixon's wage and price controls had done nothing to stop the inflation and had created serious distortions in the market. Ford's sell harder hadn't done much. The only way to save the dollar was to take interest rates sky high and do other things to suck up the money supply. The dollar was taken out of its power dive and we all got a good laugh at the killer rabbit. By about 1979 the accumulation of savings was starting to make the funds available for an economic expansion. The worst was over in about 3 years.
