Before Luna was made Captain, when he was on patrol in Belmont Shore....that deranged insane man was in a police jeep on a deserted dog beach early one morning while I was walking my old 8 lbs yorkie....he interrogated me for nearly a half hour for not having a bag....I explained my dog just used it and I threw it in the trash....he continued on and on....I was 65 years old with my 15 year old dog. I was terrified because I could tell he was unbalanced. Finally, he let me go....he should not be in a position of power.

Yes, California is more than full at 40 million people. Everything you mentioned is true starting 30 or so years ago. The hospitals, public schools and roads can't handle the demand. The building contractors encouraged the undocumented to come to work in California building thousands of housing tracts. The investors made a lot of money and cared nothing about the population effects when their projects were done or where their workers went. Mexican workers have built California into the 5th largest economy in the world. Mass deportations could cause a collapse of the California economy starting with ag and construction. It would devastate restaurants and hotels. When police start getting involved with immigration enforcement, people stop reporting crimes. It wasn't that long ago that immigration did place holds on the undocumented in jail. Many of them had the means to immediately return to the U.S. and a wall is not going to stop that. I often wondered if the release to immigration was a get out of jail free card. It is a complex issue not as black and white as people think.
