Getting on Medicaid is work. You need an advisor, and a lot of financial records. Medicaid then takes ALL of your social security. They left my mom a whopping $40 a month.

This is a step backwards because under Donald Trump more people will lose health coverage. Hospitals will lose money because they will no longer be compensated for patients that are unisured. He needs to allow states to expand medicaid under the Afordable Healthcare Act.

Sounds to me like Trump wants to use Medicaid for health purposes, not as a 'work-around' for non-medical benefits. He also needs to start scrutinizing who is on Medicaid. I know of several couples who have quit their jobs to qualify for medicaid for their kids. Don't deny it. Those are the people who you should blame, not someone trying to cut spending. Jesus Christ people, we're 35 trillion in debt which is not sustainable!

As an insurance broker that have been doing this for years. It will. Medicare prescriptions have been a travesty. Bidens administration took initiative by removing the coverage gap, and reducing the troop from $8000 down to $2000. Some people might pay more, but for the majority of Americans, it is overall a better system.

@@chrislandon-zu4yr One of the best true life experiences were the millions of people that had "pre-existing health conditions" like cancer and were unable to get health insurance. Thanks to the Affordable Healthcare Act these people are now covered because health insurance companies can't deny you coverage because you have a "pre-existing condition. Also because of the Affordable Healthcare Act Medicaid has been expanded to cover people who walk into the emergency room sick and have no health insurance. Medicad will help pay the hospital for those people . Without the Affordable Healthcare Act the hospitals would lose money. Several hospitals were forced to shut down because they were losing money trying to pay for these sick emergency room patients.
