Trump seeks to set aside hush money verdict after immunity ruling

Lawyers for former President Donald Trump asked the New York judge who presided over his hush money trial to set aside his conviction and delay his sentencing, scheduled for later this month. FOX 5 NY's Robert Moses has the latest.

Their economy grew by 3.2% in 2022 which was actually slightly beyond expectations. Their quality of life has improved heavily in the last 10 years. Let alone just about everything is cheaper like hospitals, utilities, rent, groceries, my mother personally actually went down to Mexico to do a surgery and it was HEAVILY cheaper than American prices.

The supreme court only ruled that Trump would be allowed to declare immunity on official documents from when he was president. That's it. They never said trump was or wasn't guilty in his NY trial. They didn't say he could declare immunity on this trial. They didn't even speak or consider the current trial. Their ruling had NOTHING to do with this current case. Unless for example this case and impeachment and whatnot are the reason they were brought up questions from the supreme court to begin with. But other than that it isn't and wasn't a consideration.

I believe that the Supreme Court arrived at the best decision. The lower court is to blame. The judge should have done this work, before rushing to conclude that a president has no immunity. In which he was quickly denied without a real review.. if only they actually reviewed it they would have likely found it to be bs anyways and would have found the same findings. BUT, here comes the funny part. Since it was trumps right to ask for immunity, and the courts completely ignored it, the case went from the hush money to deciding if they should throw out the entire case or not. Why? Because once again it's trumps constructional right to ask for immunity, and they denied it impartiality meanings now it's not about the immunity, it's about if trumps rights were violated. And if they were the case will be dismissed.
