As a victim of child rape, I stand with Gov Whitmer. That's why I could never share such a story if I had gone through that because there's so many misogynistic victim blamers out there who would just shame and blame no matter what. This kind of behavior is toxic and can lead rape victims to suicide. I've heard of several cases of young teenage girls taking their own lives because of this disgusting behavior. One was even forced to hold up her panties in the court room to "prove" she was asking for it and she ended up committing suicide soon after that.
