The lady in the video was saying you need a birth certificate to show when you visit abroad which is not true. Also, US is very powerful country and that shows when you visit other countries. You can get VISA stamped on your passport (not birth certificate) upon arrival at the airport, which is not the case for most of the other countries when they visit US.
