Bill for the "Pay Raise" to the congressmen? What a joke! Our elderly parents worked hard while they were young. They contributed to the Social Security program and hoped to live a decent life when they retired. But the public workers avoided to pass any bill to give them a fair and accurate yearly inflation living cost adjustment. Their yearly SS benefit increase can not catch up the increase of their other expenses, such as food, transportation, medicare premium, medication .. etc. Not only they are facing a financial challenge each year. but also they are hearing the bad news of the coming shortage of the social security problem. The government decision makers were elected by the people to help and solve any issue for them. But, to the public servants, have you done anything to help your senior citizens? Or, is your Pay Raise more important than anything else? Thanks DOGE to stop you!
