So assuming we want a relatively peaceful outcome then some things would be raising awareness however you're able, and expressing dissatisfaction, including peaceful protests/demonstrations where possible, contacting elected representatives, etc. Become the squeaky wheel that can't be ignored, and recruit as many other squeaky wheels as you can.
