@@damionrockwell2300 Well these are major cases so you'd easily have a partner, a senior lawyer, 2 if not 3 junior lawyers, a paralegal and probably an assistant as a minimum for your legal team. A partner will be $10k a day, a senior lawyer could easily charge $8k a day, juniors lawyers would be $5k, paralegal and assistance would be combined $3k. So that $26k a day just on lawyer fees, which is pretty conservative, I imagine trump would try to get the best and anyone that would be willing to do the work will probably charge a surcharge, so that $26k is more likely $36k. Then you add the fact that it is a rush job so another surcharge, $46k. Then there are disbursements, I imagine they are pulling long days so there will be meals for all provided, as well as travel costs and printing costs would be insane too. 3 meals for 7 people in the city would be $1k a day, travel for 7 people would be another $1k. All in all $50k a day. Times that by 4 trials and you've got $200k without breaking a sweat. The additional $30k could easily be admins fees and court fees.

Something to consider: That Chick Fil A is in Atlanta’s historically black neighborhood Vine City on MLK Blvd. It is operated by a black man who is NOT a member of one of Trump’s golf clubs - despite Trump claiming he was. (Trump is simply incapable of telling the truth about anything!) In addition, 3 HBCUs are located nearby. It’s not inconceivable that young people living & going to school in the area - a primarily black neighborhood- would work at that Chick Fil A, and it’s not inconceivable that everyone who worked there on that day happened to be black. Whether or not they wanted to meet Trump is a different issue. Also, local reports make it sound like just the 30 milkshakes (and not the chicken) were actually given to a group of conservative college students who arranged to meet at the restaurant. Trump never followed through on the order of “some chicken”. I guess he needed to save his money for his legal bills.

Why does everyone keep referring to the fundraiser menu as "sophisticated"?
