The polls are showing that Trump is performing much better than 2020 in key demographics. It’s also showing that Harris, even in the polls she is ahead, is performing much worse than Biden was at this point in 2020. Bidrn bsrely won in 2020. Harris is actually in a hole and far from having a chance to win despite all the enthusiasm around her polling.

The polls that have her ahead (YouGov, Ipsos, Morning Consult) are using proprietary online panels whose members seem to be more liberal. All of their results are skewed.

He endorsed him in June. If he didn't endorse Robinson that would have damaged Robinson's campaign at the time. Also, did the NC Republican party support Robinson or was he just an "insurgent," candidate? They should know more about him than Trump. So this never happened to Democrats? You think Harris knows everyone she endorsed? I definitely don't trust CNN about this story, a network hostile to Republicans.

Cases of non-citizen voting/registering to vote are extremely rare, essentially they are statistically meaningless. Part of the reason for this is that the penalty is pretty severe. Many states do verify citizenship via driver license registrations as well as a national database. Some of the main drawbacks of instituting a "voter ID" system are that you would disenfranchise many more legitimate voters than there ever were illigitimate voters, simply because they do not have the means to take off work to obtain an ID. Basically the most vulnerable people in society would be assed out. This could potentially be offset by enough federal spending to subsidize the economic impact by having an extremely robust and easy system that is zero out-of-pocket for all citizens, but the GOP is all about "not spending."

@@Jack-eo5fn I receive the notifications when I do mail in ballots. It is part of MD's election system. I guess your state needs to adopt a similar system. The guest from CO said their mail ballots have the same feature. I am guessing if I early vote in person I could probably check online for that info.:)

I’m really surprised by the amount of split ticket voting that goes on. Trump is tied or ahead in NC but Robinson is down 10. Trump is up 6-8 in Ohio but Brown is up 1-3. Trump is up 3-5 in Nevada but Rosen is up 7-10.

I live in Illinois. I’m married to an American and I’m a Canadian citizen. I lost all respect for the system when I found out I was registered to vote. I got a mail in ballot in 2020. I’m Asian with a clearly identifiable last name.
