Correction: he's a stain in the underpants of American history. Definitely. Already now, just a few weeks into his second term. Once again leaving the Paris Accord, proudly reintroducing plastic straws, leaving the WHO, abolishing US AID, sanctioning the ICC because it dares to accuse Israel of genocide in Gaza, etc.: future generations most likely will not look back very kindly on Trump.
@ThomasOrtlaufpg

As my first comment was deleted, I rephrase it by just saying that it will be a stain on America that the US under President Trump is once again leaving the Paris Climate Accord, that the US is leaving the WHO, that US AID is abolished, and that the US is sanctioning the ICC.

"The ubiquity of Trump" nails it. He has achieved his ambition. Now everyone in the entire world knows about him, sees him on TV, reads about him in the press. I loathe him so much I'd have to be a poet to adequately describe the depths of my feelings.......so in this respect he was won the victory he so plainly craves. He has however lost the battle to become a proper man. Better luck next time Donald, and be aware that the people whose approval you most crave despise you.

If you want to know where America is going to be, I think the one thing that makes all the difference is who leads in technology. Right now, if you look at all the graphs of the various industrial sectors, you see the same pattern one after another. Each industrial sector they once controlled is being systematically taken from them. We see it now in microchips and cars, but soon it will be pharmaceuticals, and commercial aviation is also on the horizon. As they lose these markets they will end up finding difficulty keeping up with interest payments on the debt and this will cause more poverty in the civil sector, which we already see, but it could get far worse, leading to internal unrest, adding to the problems. Anyway, Trump's unstable mind is just likely to lead to more wrong turns and so it will accelerate their decline. They can't really harm anyone. Nations will band together and stand up to them. Trade will begin to circulate around them.

His need for attention has gotten worse since his first term in office. Take today, February 9, on America's biggest sporting event day, the Superbowl, he did an interview on television ,flew to the game with media aboard Air Force 1 and proclaimed it Gulf of America day , saying it was even bigger than the Super Bowl ,proving he was trying to make it all about himself thereby taking attention away from the sporting event

This reminds one of Trotsky’s theory of “permanent revolution” held that, historically, an economic system had to be seen as a world system rather than a national one. I think you're right on the Trumpery, but I think you're wrong on a few other bits. Particularly morality. The liberal order has been captured by states such as the PRC, Iran, the Russian Federation, Qatar, etc. Europe has been captured by luxury beliefs. The West needs to grow a spine if it's going to survive what's coming. Americans see the writing on the wall. Mao's army defeated the ROC in part due to the use of human shields. Mao argued that such wars entailed tearing down the "Great Wall" between combatants and civilians. The ROC was psychologically broken by this tactic and eventually was pushed out to Taiwan. The CCP still uses its civilians as part of its war effort and make no mistake, they are at war with all of us. If the West can't defend itself against such tactics, we have already lost. Is that moral? "In the United States people are singularly oblivious of the close relation between peace and preparation." - Alfred Thayer Mahan America is preparing for war. We said it publicly already, I just hope Europe will remember its allies and follow our advice once in a while.

I interpreted this video to mean that you do not like Trump so you are happy to rubbish his achievements without bothering to see if he actually has any. So I thought I would list some things that just happened to occur around Trump when he was in office last time. You can pretend he had no influence over any of it but that would be difficult to believe. I apologise for typos and dubious formatting but the list was an image file some minutes ago and not text. Economic Growth ● 4.2 percent growth in the second quarter of 2018. ● For the first time in more than a decade, growth is projected to exceed 3 percent over the calendar year.
