That Titanic model is nothing short of AWESOME! I'm not new to scale modeling, as I did it as a teen, but am going to resurrect my old hobby in a few days. I think I'll start with models of WWII aircraft like the Mustang and Spitfire first just to wet my feet and take it from there. Congratulations on a fantastic build.

Super job. Wish I would have purchased the Trumpeter model and not the 1/350 older Academy version. Some of the parts actually fit properly. Detail is so much better on the Trumpeter version.

absolutely fantastic build! Well done. I love old liners. The lights are a fantastic addition and really give atmosphere to it. Can you get kit models of other liners such as the Aquitania and Mauretania? I've only ever seen Titanic

Hi..I just went to a store that sells various thicknesses of thread and found some that I felt were the right size. Remember to vary your thickness throughout the boat. It gives a better overall effect. 👍🏻😊

Here in Greece from other brand it costs too much...1700 euro...140 brochures in magazines...3 years to collect the magazines and parts..1/200...with leds...and smoke in chimneys...but overcosted....

Nice work. I've been researching Titanic models, but as a first timer, I'm told it's too difficult for me. I'd like to know the minimum experience required before tackling something like this?

It is a difficult model. If you're planning a build straight out of box then I think you should be fine. Take your time and follow instructions carefully. If you want to add all the upgrades..then its gets more complex...best of luck.

I used the photo etch set from KA to do the masts. The rest was various thickness of thread. Best to sort them yourself. I went to. Local store and found ones that I felt worked.
