There is always a possibility of learning new things. Use of seperater was a good idea. I prefer index match over vlookup for dynamic results. Also index can be used in place of choose function. 🙏

Your video is great & I can follow the steps easily, but I really need some assistance: when I use helper it works great for the first row, when I use the choose function it too works for the first row, however when I drag the formula down it copies the same data for every row! Maybe I am doing something wrong. Here’s my dilemma: you are performing this video with the data on the same sheet. I have 5 sheets to get the data to look up from. Sheet 1 is my reg earnings by employee by job (kept in mind, some employees have two or sometimes 3 jobs through the calendar year), now I have to get their additional earnings by the job performed on each of my remaining tabs (overtime, lump sum, other pay etc). Here is an example of one employee with the same employee number, but different job titles-this is exactly how I need the data to give the ovt for pt transport job not on evs one. Emp xxxxx. Job evs aide reg earns $435.00 Emp xxxxx Pt transport reg earns $12,45.00 ovt earnings $1278.32 other earns $500.00 Can you assist me? I would greatly appreciate it, I have been looking it up manually. Thank you in advance ~Donna
