She clearly is not a press brake operator. NEVER grip the piece from the front, gently touch it with fingertips by both sides instead. That's basic. That grip will potentially give you a good scare at any time or even chopp your fingers off. Awesome machine. Very comfortable to work in a 7036, I used two models of these. I love the electric speed and the comfort. Long productions of small pieces even get fun.

Could someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE exsplain to me the need for a emergency stop post on top of the foot pedal? Thank you . I seem to be hitting that thing on every 30th part i work on also i would like to give a shoutout to my mannager who said that me sitting on a chair in front of a machine is a hazard and i need to stand. The amount of problems with that yeah by the end of the day i was in the mood to beat the tar out of him with the fucking foot pedal stand because our press pedal has this great feature where if you put too much weight on it it would stop . So imagine trying to stand in fron of a press for 8 h on one leg . I understan if im working on a part thats above 80 cm there is no way to sit in front of the machine . I find that the best place to work is when your head is eye level with the stopper. The best safty feature i came up with if you are not making a box is to set tool retraction hight to just 1-2 mm above the thickness of the material and than slide the parth out to the side . It will make the press run very fast and the safety is idiot proof because there is not enough space to stick your fingers in to. Also you might wanna slow down the bending speed getting the part jerked out of your hands does not feel nice or look good . For small parts this is the best machine i have seen and a dream to work on maybe add a foot pedal so one can stand in front too sitting for too long is not good for your health

Hi demented bowine, thank you for your comment. We forwarded your request to our experts. We'll get in contact with you as soon as we've got the feedback. Please note that due to the current situation it may take a little longer. We give our best! Regards, Your TRUMPF Team
@TRUMPFtube4 жыл бұрын
Dear demented bowine, Thank you for your patience here comes our solution. The emergency stop on the operating unit with foot switches is a must for CE and compulsory according to the Technical Supervisory Association. Most bending machines are operated with the help of such a unit with foot switches. Our TruBend Series 7000 is a bit of an exception here, as it was designed and built to meet ergonomic needs - it is the first and only bending machine with an according “ergonomics certificate” (hence the seat and foot rest underneath the table). Best regards, Your TRUMPF Team
@dementedbowine86814 жыл бұрын
@@TRUMPFtube i figured it was some law that made it compolsury because with these presses if you put in the wrong info and give it more tonnage than it needs or put your limbs in its path it will end up breaking the tooling or Injuring you far faster than you or someone else can react to press the swich. The only time i press it is when im changing the tooling or going behind the press to collet stuff that fell through it kills the motor and disabels the use of a press till its lifted . Thank you for the response the first press i worked on did not have it but it was made to be fed by a robotic arm so when we got the new one the first thing i thought was thats gonna be a pain in the but to deal with .

Poor finish in the stainless armrest table, you can see where the brackets are welded on underneath creating ripples in the surface, definitely a reject where I work, poor quality.
@TRUMPFtube5 жыл бұрын
Dear Ian Watson, Sorry for the late reply. We regret that you are not happy with the arm rest of this previous generation of the TruBend Series 7000. Why not give the newer generation a try? In the new generation of the TruBend Series 7000, the arm rest has been redesigned and its surface now has a polymer layer for an even more pleasant feeling when resting your hands on it. You can see it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmS0mIeaqLGXqbs Best wishes! Your TRUMPF Team
