I am also working on a 10KW Fiber / 5030 / L76 from Trumpf and know FlyLine .... That is really spectacular and fast! Unfortunately, with FlyLine you destroy the axles with daily use ....

Really? Operating like this causes increased wear on the axes and leads to premature failure? Why even have it as an option then?

Indeed using FlyLine all the time will wear the axes out a lot faster. But imagine one day you have many delivery deadlines coming close then FlyLine will probably save your company's future... There's no perfect technical solution, it's all about how you utilize the tools you have
