I haven't played in years...so I don't know the cards anymore...but I would have guessed this could be potentially OP...being used to sneak a very high cost minion in for 6. But I also am guessing that there are easier ways to reduce card costs/bring them right onto the board/battlefield? *edit* : I pressed play and Trump immediately addressed this.

Patronizing parrot should make a squeak noise, then replay the entrance line of the minion it's copying in a pitched up tone (done automatically) it be tricky to do just for a single minion, but it be amazing to see.

Wonderful card! Gurgle is so heavily associated with Murlocs cause they make the same bubbly noises haha. It’s hard cause all the “urgle” sounding words are Murloc specific. I’m struggling to think of other sounds that tar can make though.

9:10 maybe instead of "Whenever this minion takes damage..." Krul could read "The first time this minion takes damage each turn..." so it isn't completely unkillable to more decks.

I don't think the card needs nerfs. If anything the card is far too weak because of how susceptible it is to outright getting you killed. If it isn't behind a taunt, Raid Boss Onyxia is 20 damage to your dome on its own. Another example is Denathrius has double the chances of "going face" and killing you.

Something that bothers me with Lazul is that two of the options for "When an enemy minion..." are "Destroy it" and "Return it to it's (sic) owner's hand. It costs (3) more". While there's a few situations where the second case is preferable (Deathrattles, maybe mill decks), it just seems like it's mostly just worse than destroying it, and essentially plays the same role. Maybe it would be more interesting as something like a beefed-up Sudden Betrayal - "It attacks both of its neighbors instead".

About Krul, i feel it need a keyword like ''intangible'' or ''froze in time'' (any better idea is welcome) with the effect: ''cannot be modified'' (can't gain any other keyword or stats). It'll reduce the power level (maybe a little too much), you can still lose against shield slam or the likes of it. But decks/classes without a lot of option against it would fear it less.

Lazul would be so salt inducing. 2 mana to draw 4 cards instead of 1 on turn 3 alone is crazy, the fact that it's a potential answer to anything after the first turn is also crazy. A sprint mixed with a flame ward, a pyroblast, two different counterspells, and more with your choice depending on the matchup. You have that on a 2 mana 3/2. Zeph's at least not guaranteed and doesn't make the card cost 0

That it cast the secret is the breaking point. The only way to nerf without breaking it is to send to your deck and it cost depending on what you pick. I know secret are either 1 mana to max 3 mana but that was because they don't see much play. So you can pick one is three mana secret or 10 mana spell that cast five random Lazul clasifies secret(You cannot see the random lazul secret effect.) That way it give the opponent time and give meme option. Since the effect are still ridiculous. If you could craft each secret even at ten mana it may be worth which is thing no secret effect should be in my experience in hearstone. So just in case is still to much the one that play the 10 mana card is as much in the dark as the other player. Because while 10 mana may be too much there a bunch of way to get around it. So I have to draw the line somewhere.

I'd make one edit to Krul, personally. "If this minion would be damaged on YOUR turn, your hero takes it instead." Makes it less vulnerable to Minion targeting spells hitting the Hero, whilst also giving methods to proc the self damage things Warlocks like to do with Krul as well as the Hero Power.

Problem with calling it transmogrefier is that it has to become an ogre which means it has to have good stats for cost meaning atleast a 5/6 which might be too strong

I think "at the end of your turn restore to full health" is on the weaker side. Still pretty good tho. Let's get an example: you have 12/12 on board, enemy trades some minions into it, leaves 12/5 and puts a 6/6 taunt. If you can't kill this taunt with spells/rushes or heal your 12/5 you either have to trade your 12/5 or skip a turn to heal it.

I disagree with Trump's take on Display of Might. It can be used as removal. 3 enemy minions on board, you play Display of Might, kill them with rushers, them shuffle both yours and opposing minions back. The tech part seems a bit more optional for me.

Yeah as long as there are enough rush cards it's pretty efficient removal. Doing 4 to two minions would probably be worth 4 mana, display of might can do that fairly easily - in a midrangey rush deck it only whiffs badly when the opponent has taunt pulled. In fact I'd say the card is probably too powerful right now with remornia, grom and neptulon in standard; being able to push out 24 damage of rush, 4 of charge, 4 from a weapon, and get two 4/2 with immune while attacking for 4 mana sounds a little ridiculous even if inconsistent. Throw a masked reveler in the deck too or a Mr Smite if you need it.

Display of Might seems like it's actually got applications? There's lots of cards that create value when coming into the battlefield. Minions with rush, minions with deathrattle, minions that give buffs (anima extractor), colossal minions (neptulon especially).... do it right and you can basically clear the enemy board for 4 mana while building a board of your own. There's also disruption, since you can pull sire or jace or xymox from their deck, kill those cards, and then make it so they don't shuffle back in. Basically could be too weak but I can see control warrior running this. Control warrior frankly needs disruption.

display of might is broken, build a rush deck and it becomes a 4 mana board wipe, with info gained from opponent, and possible combo kill. You can just ignore the opponent's minions shown and attack the ones already on board.

I think Display of Might would make more sense if the minions stuck around during your opponent's next turn as well so you could use it to block off board spaces and cheat out big taunts temporarily, sort of like a diy Conjured Mirage

Hell, Red Herring wouldn't be "terrible" as a pull because its statline is obnoxious. The point is by adding "until the next turn" you enable taunts to be a viable pull whereas with its current state it is literally pull rush minions or you played 4 mana do nothing.

That card alone shows how it's a bit silly to get alarmist over 'broken in Wild'. Even the Convoke the Spirits example Trump gave is excessively slow, and doesn't even win the game as an 18 mana combo...

Dawngrasp doesn't really do much with an already beefy hero power, if you get it that high chances are you aren't gonna be getting honorable kills to buff it more anyway, it'd work much better with frost lich Jaina.

Surprised you said lazul had 4* design it has a big design issue with that, assuming it works like discover effects, "when your turn starts" only has one choice where as "when your opponent does" and "when a minion attacks" both have two choices instantly informing your opponent that you did a start of turn secret. Either making it weird clarity or extra work for the team needing to make an extra third fake choice

Questline is interesting, but weird. "Restore to full health at the end of your turn" is a weak effect, as we have seen with Stoneskin Gargoyle (Even back when Priest had things like Divine Spirit and Inner Fire). Its too easy for a minion to get fully killed by an opponent making the healing effect redundant. The +3/+3 is interesting... I could see some meme decks like Quest Rogue where all their minions are 8/8's or Marsh Queen Hunter getting a bunch of 1 mana 6/5 raptors. Though, I don't see it making much of an impact due to the multiple tribe requirements (Beasts, Elementals and then a 3rd tribe) which makes it awkward to actually complete especially since many "Zoo" type decks actually have a primary tribe (Things like Mech Mage/Pally, Imp Warlock, Beast Hunter etc) At least unless we get an expansion themed around it, with more Amalgam cards, cross tribe synergies (Like that Paladin Murloc that has DR: Draw a Dragon) and menagerie synergies (Like those terrible Warrior Menagerie cards from DMF)

Nah I think this version of Crone is already very well balanced and seems really fun. Even Trump's example costs 28 mana to get actual value from (Crone+Convoke, then hero power next turn), at which point you would really probably just prefer to win the game... Convoke doesn't even do that reliably.

I think instead of revealing it, it should just not cast the secret and add it to your hand for 2 mana. By telling the opponent the first part they would have a pretty good idea of what the opponent probably wants to do considering the current situation and then it’s not much of a secret

Choosing multiple times happened with murloc holmes and grand archivist in the past, but that was predictable, you know the questions of holmes and that archivist offers random cards, there are so many variables here and they affect you directly because it’s a secret. Murloc holmes is just potentially card advantage for you, not something the opponent can exactly play around or has to Also I realize if you just pick twice the opponent always knows it’s "when your turn starts"

Kazakus has you pick a size of potion and 2 random ingredients, Murloc Holmes needs you to pick 3 "random" cards, Elysiana and Kazakusan need you to pick 5 random cards, etc. The only weird part of Lazul is that it casts the secret immediately, at no cost. Make it add the secret to your hand instead, and no matter what secret you make it will cost 3 mana. Also, make it hide your choices from the enemy so that they wouldn't immediately know if you made a "When your turn starts..." secret because that's only 2 choices, not 3 like the other options.

Eh. Considering wild has Shudderwock and similar already, I fail to see how an 8 mana minion that most of the time does nothing the turn you proc its spellburst, and only provides 1 spell of value per turn, is something to raise the alarm over. Wild games are generally VERY over by turn 10 (or even turn 9, if you are using Thaurissan), so even Time Out is going to be insanely inconsistent and weak. People saying it'll be busted in wild clearly don't play much wild.

I realy think you under sell diplay might. Collosols exist as one point of notice so Embassodor+ Display can be a prety good late game combo to swing the bord. Then ther is the fact that Warrior is a class with a lot of Rush minions so with positiv trades you can destroy key pices of a combo maybe (or battlecry cards with week stats but amazing effects). Thinks like provoke exist to. Ther are lot of follow up option if you want. The design is also fittng for Warrior to summon cards to fight out of both plyers deck. I would say its more of a 3-4 Star in thsi fild and in speciel in Warrior a 3 star balance at least since it can be quite good but alos quite usless and is a bit to unreliable for 4 Mana.

I do wonder how the cards are translated into other languages, not all of them can be clever puns I imagine. But I like how Blizzard decided that they can still make these puns! It just makes English the main Hearthstone language I guess, which should be fine IMO.

I think in the modern game, the Crone is fine? The really broken stuff would be limited to wild, and wild is already wild. If you are able to play her and get some broken spell off, as long as it isn't TOO easy it should absolutely be fine. And in standard it's easier to balance and again, there are less ways to cheat so it's even more likely to end up balanced. Assuming there isn't any true way to RELIABLY cheat it out, you should be rewarded with a win for getting it on the field and surviving for a turn. And in standard a high mana cost hero power would again be more restrictive than wild. It's sort of like denathrius in that if the game goes long enough, it will close the game out and that's fine.

Fully agreed, card seems amazing and very well balanced. Pls add to game thx Blizz People talking about it being strong in wild... I don't think they actually play wild if they think an 8 mana VERY likely 'do-nothing-the-turn-you-proc-it' is anything close to 'broken'. Maybe these people are watching MarkMckz thinking his combos happen easily and regularly... rather than after hours and hours and hours of attempts where he gets stomped over and over and over again.

@@Neirean Right? Or Dane's WONDERFUL videos, which thankfully cut out the countless failures and uninteresting matches where nothing works out. Wild is pretty heavily optimized past standard at the top levels, and gimmicks tend to just be too slow to reliably pull off.

Shadowcrafter Scabbs literally already does this, so I doubt it would break anything.

At that point it's basically a Shadowcrafter Scabbs that doesn't bounce your opponent's board (and summons a 7/7 instead of 2 4/2 stealths). It seems fine.

I think Krul should probably lost points on the fact that most of its overstatted investment was put into health, which literally doesn't matter because of its ability. Maybe if it's silenced, but then congratulations you made a 7/9 for like 10 mana

The Crone seems like such a terrible idea to me. It substantially limits design space, and even just with some current cards it's very oppressive. Tier 3 Flurry every turn, the infused Frozen Touch adding so much cheap flexible valuable, Tidestone of Golganneth or Horn of Ancients from Queen Azshara. Quite the feels bad experience and way too easy to break

Meh, at turn 10+ I don't think this is an absurd win conition. Games have to end somehow, and Isochron Scepter in MtG is one of the most fun artifacts in the game - this card seems really fun and pretty well balanced due to its cost, and because it's still only 1 copy of the spell/turn, and ofc takes a long time to get online. Not only that, but you have to save Horn of Ancients for it, which could be too much of a tempo sacrifice. I don't even think it's very hard to balance - increasing its cost further makes it substantially weaker.

Display of Might has a ton of uses, Trump is just dumb... Charge minions might even make it OP, remember Charged Devilsaur? Display of Might would be a 4 mana 14 burn card even if it didn't pull a 3rd minion.

I have a simple request. Stop making neutral legendaries they have absurd effects of you have no duplicates. They were fun and niche at first, but now the cost of inconsistency being rewarded with strong cards is no longer a cost and these singleton cards are just insanely powerful when your deck has more than 1 or 2. It's fine if it's a single class, but when it's neutral, there's 10 version of the same deck running the same core set of neutral cards and it's just so boring to play against the same decks every time. This includes you blizzard.
