Its actually not a 6 mana 7/7 and draw a card, since you have tp spend an extra card before drawing so your net in card draw is +0. It's literally a 4 mana 7/7 overload 2 BUT it requires you to run a bad card and draw both of those cards. Worse than flamewreathed in every way possible, even in the best case scenario.

Here's the best part: Trump's deck and his plays were just horrendous. Priest of the Feast has made laddering as priest 110% feasible and quite enjoyable with folks reporting reaching legend and going on insane winstreaks even at rank 5+ The Feast-Saron Priest deck is genuinely good... Trump is just awful at anything but Dragonpriest when it comes down to Anduin's priestly manners.

Yeah, Trump definitely seems to have become a worse player over the past few months. But doesn't change the fact that Priest is still pretty bad. It's base cards are subpar, and one new card is not going to propel them into top tier. Sure, some people have hit Legend with it. But then some people also report winning the lottery. Still leaves the vast majority in a bad place.

Excavated Evi, and most AOE spells, generally serve a single purpose: combating low health minions. In that regard, 3 damage is insurmountable more effective than 2, 4 more than 3, etc. Obviously, at some point, this starts declining and will always be relative to the cost of the card and, but the 3 damage excavated evil does to your board is usually irrelevant. If you're playing a minion you'd care if excavated evil kills you're likely doing something wrong.

I don't get why Priest gets a 4/3 for 4 that does half a Thoughtsteal (and if you think about it, both are pretty bad and thoughtsteal is sometimes completely useless) while other classes get the stuff like Cloaked Huntress, Medivh's Valet, Flamewreath, Ravaging Ghoul, Pillager, Peddler... if Shade was 3 mana, it would competitively make way more sense.

This deck is a disaster. If the idea is to use shadowform + feast to have healing and damage, then I don't think Morose is appropriate. Morose works in an aggressive deck like that divine shield cancer paladin thing. I would probably add in tournament medic for consistency on the heals. N'zoth is clearly the best old god, you need Sylvanas and perhaps Chillmaw and/or cairne bloodhoof along with shades and whatever you get from museum curator. With that you would have a decent tier-2 deck.

and if you want to run Morose, you need consistent buffs to protect him. Power word shield is OK, but you need another similar effect. At the moment, the best alternatives available to priest are all bad in standard. You could run 1-2 shattered sun clerics (which are actually not terrible cards!). SSC on morose will still die to a lot of stuff though. Spawn of N'Zoth combos with N'Zoth and with the stewards, especially if you pain your own spawn. Ultimately without good early game health buffs, Morose is bad though. Paladin has all the right cards to make Morose good: cheap cards that give divine shield and lots of health. In wild you could run velen's chosen and it would be pretty sick.

I think the recent brawl outlines the problem with priest so well. Like Trump in this video is talking about how he can heal a bunch of damage with priest-o-the-feast, but priest spells are too selective and his opponent will still have a dominant board at the end of it. Being able to heal for a bunch really isn't useful in Hearthstone.

I don't think Yogg works well in this sort of priest deck. You often have a large hand and your win condition is sometimes fatigue, and Yogg doesn't fit either scenario well. N'zoth would be much better instead IMO. I also don't think Shadowform is good, even with Priest of the Feast introduced. With this sort of deck control vs control is often a fatigue contest, and vs aggro you're just trying to survive. In both situations I think Justicar's heal is better than shadowform. Also allows you to use the Justicar+Auchenie synergies.

This is a minion-based deck with only 5 spells that cost 2-or-less, yet Trump insists that the high spell count is what makes it worth running the 5 pieces of spell synergy. For goodness's sake, N'Zoth fits better than Pyromancer. Why run Museum Curator over Holy Smite? He saw Kibler's lists, so why isn't he running Mind Vision or Forbidden Shaping? He got to turn 10 Yogg with only minions in hand and had spent the coin, yet the Yogg counter was only at 6. How do you prepare for swing turns with Pyromancer, or slingshot your health total with Preist of the Feast if you don't have the mana to play a 3-mana spell? What if your situational spell can't even trigger? It's insane. He doesn't even know what makes Priest halfway decent these days.
