I may have played against Jens today in arena. He was a druid, at 8 wins, on NA. The name was Jens, and the plays were very slow and methodical. I got destroyed.

Doomsayer would work well in a mage deck freeze deck. I would say it determines on the type of deck. So I would mainly play priest with a focus on stealing your opponents cards and keeping your own alive while drawing your own cards. So the best card for this in my opinion would be Light well, since I don't have the card (forget the name) that deals damage when healed in my deck, it would be really strong once you get a bunch of those on the field. Make you immortal unless they can deal 30 damage in 1 turn.

Wild growth as a druid also wouldnt be to bad, card draw late game for no cost + you get a spell card to play that synergizes with some other cards. You get a early ramp up going as well.

You will waste 2 cards, because you just upgrade once. Isn't really an upgrade, you change your hero power, and there is not a fourth one.

He should have put in Ghoul before attacking before attacking @ 18:20. It would have become a damaged 4/3 by the time the Young Priestess Healed it when it came in. He should have taken that over a 2/4, right? EDIT: It also would have become a 5/4 when Priestess died after Kodo.

northshire cleric should be played on turn 1. your opponent then cannot play a 1/1, 1/2, 2/1, 2/2, or 2/3 minion next turn (any minion with less than 3 attack) without letting you draw at least 1 card probably 2. Only if they have a 3/2 turn 2 play is it bad

I see it like this. In constructed, the idea is to obtain the combos that you have got in your deck. Whether this be the Soul Priest/Circle of Healing board wipe or the old, infamous Miracle Rogue Leroy. For priest, your chief form of card draw comes from the Northshire Cleric. If you have your 2 heal, then you can almost always draw. Without it, you rely on Farseers, Lightwells and so on. Also, Shadow Form generally isn't all that good. It's a better Mage Fireblast but costs you the priests more irritating ability (next to 1 shotting ANYTHING that isn't 4 attack).

Yes, Shadowform can be good in constructed but it requires a very specialized deck. It's primarily good at culling aggro decks when played with followups such as sludge belcher, holy nova, or the like. The reason it isn't *generally* good is because you need to play it on an empty board for it to be truly beneficial. It stabalizes really well when played with holy smites as well.

Cole444Train From my experience today, Shadowform has been holding up its game against aggro decks when played at just the right time with just the right deck. Yes, it is a strange and situational card, but it can have benefits if played properly. I'm still refining my deck, but I think I might be on to something with this one. It's a controlly priest deck with mind blasts, chows, baron rivendare, auchenais, and ancient mages. It kind of works like freeze mage but faster. Gotta get them 2 mana pyroblasts :P (or 1 mana for chows)

Boof lol yeah. shadowpriest is actually considered to be weakest against aggro decks. playing shadowform is such a huge loss of tempo that it puts you too far behind.

Is it me or is it that so many inexperienced players prefer Arena? Like, Almost what they do isn't logical. They horde cheap early game cards thinking that they can get value with the only clear they have in their hand. Their card picks are mostly bad too. Not just from Trump's games but also mine. I've been getting easy wins because of those reasons and more.

New players get a free arena run. You can come across those every once in a while when you're both at 0/1/2 wins.

Bad picks aren't always indicative of the player being inexperienced. In Arena you're often forced to pick bad cards because the other options are even worse.
