0:57 pretty sure goblin autobarber is better than undercity. I find undercity is hard to use as the 1 damage ping is hard to trigger and hard to find a target for. Often, hero power does much the same thing and keeps a 1/1 weapon for 0 cards. autobarber is much easier to use too as you do not need to hit something on the turn you play it.

undercity valiant is a bit more useful in arena because of all the paladins and its still better than the heropower you get a 3/2 out on the field and deal 1 one damage to an enemy minion and because trump had the bucaneers he didnt need the barber

MisterCoolman29 how much rogue arena have you played? I have extensive experience playing rogue and many of my 12 win arenas are from playing tempo oriented rogue. From my experience, valiant is very weak. Buccaneers aren't even that good. They're like turn 3 2/1 and a 2/2 weapon. Unless your opponent is not a class with a 1 dmg hero power, it's almost like the average 1 drop which having too many of will contribute to running out of cards too early.

+ktktktktktktkt I dont get it, you imply tempo oriented rogue is the best way to get good rogue arenas, which I totally agree with, but then you say valiant is very weak and barber is better... In my head, valiant is a more tempo oriented card than auto barber, do you not agree? Auto barber seems like a more value oriented pick, and was always kind of akward for me to play in tempo rogue arenas, since I had to have a weapon out before it to get a value out of it, so either I used hero power + barber on the same turn (arguably quite weak tempo-wise) or I had kept a weapon intact a few turns earlier (making for a quite weak turn).

0:08 pretty sure kvaldir is better than mana wraith here. ancient mage has some potential but it's too inconsistent. In my experience, going for an aggressive deck with rogue is a very effective strategy as long as you don't run out of cards before you win. I really don't think rogue is a strong late game class generally as it is lacking good hard removal. Assassinate is good for certain minions but a lot of late game minions aren't completely taken out by assassinate. Anyways, imo, rogue is best played as a tempo class and mana wraith is often detrimental to that whereas kvaldir can for a hero power which is a 1 mana net gain or a 2 mana net if the opponent missed turn 1.

+Oane Huisman Well the other rouge deck had some insane late game cards.... like deathwing (which kind makes any deck good late game if the opponent doesn't have removal for it) Or the potential... infinite value of Anubarak (or whatever it was called) Also I think Trump should probably value 1 drops slightly higher in rouge... simply because 1 drops are better in rouge thanks to them enabling combo cards.... like having a 1 drop with undercity valiant makes it a lot easier to trigger and makes it so you can trigger it on turn 3 if needed be

Refreshment Vendor is actually worth extra consideration in Rogue (especially in this deck with a weapon focus) because you'll be using your weapon so much to trade.

Lucas Reis Blood knight... it has such insane value if it ever hits... a 6/6 or 9/9 for 3 mana which also removed your enemy's divine shields... And even if it doesn't hit it isn't that bad... a 3/3 for 3 is pretty average... The reason Blood Knight was so good before was that everyone almost always picked Scarlet crusader (as it was the absolutely best 3 drop since all other 3 drops were 3/3) and also Sunwalker was often picked as well when possible so most decks had some divine shields

+Jo Viljar Haugstulen It's always good to pick up one blood knight if you get the chance in arena. It has mediocre stats for a 3 drop, but if you get to hit the divine shield effect, the payout is enormous. Low risk, high reward card.

Jongseong Lee "It has mediocre stats for a 3 drop," The stats aren't even that bad... the only neutral 3 drops that beat it in stats are ogre brute, spidertank and Dancing swords (there is also tinkertown technician if the effect triggers) So yeah it really is a card with such potential and rather low down sides (of course it also helps that paladin is one of the more popular classes)

Undercity Valiant over Spiteful Smith? Am I just crazy for slamming my face on the table there or do many people agree with Trump? Rogue is my favorite class so I've played Undercity Valiant plenty. It's about 90% of the time just a 3/2 whereas Spiteful is always a sturdy threat.

+Pedolf Titler he noted that smith is good, but I think his deck was lacking early game at that point. And while you make do with a weaker late game, with a weak early game, you often don't survive to see the late game anyway. Trump also put them to good use so far, his deck this time suits them well

+Pedolf Titler I'd pick the Valiant too, but I like going aggressive with Rogue and the Valiant helps a lot with grabbing and keeping the board early. Spiteful Smith is great, but sometimes too slow. I think it's more about the style you're comfortable playing with than anything else. Maybe you're playing Valiant just as a 3/2 so many times because you don't have enough early game to save it up some turns?

Max Johnstone I guess you're right. It just seemed like it would be easy to get value if you play it late game combined with something like a six or seven mana-card. But like you said, it certainly would be easy to play around with several low cost minions on the board.

This is the era of tempo. Back in the Beta Kidnapper was rated trash and Faceless was rated pretty damn high, but times have changed. The Kidnapper has become better than the Faceless as catching up has become impossible with Rogue.

Pedolf Titler Yup faceles is a slow play that requires you to be in a very strong or very weak postition to use and can be very easily punished. Kidnapper isn't the best card but it can either be used to slow down your opponent or stop your opponent from recovering.

Wajsters Cold Blood isn't a synergy card, it's a buff card. The card is by nature designed to be good without having to mix with any other type of card. Also every other buff card usable in constructed is also great in arena.
