I repented to God while listening to this old hymn hearing it again and again. Who else can we really trust? There is elsewhere no place our heart finds peace, forgiveness, mercy, truth, life and way than in Jesus Christ alone. All glory and majesty, dominion and honor to God in heaven and Christ HIS son our Savior and King.

You are soooo right! They are songs about our relationship with our Savior. when we are down, they lift us up to new heights. If we are celebrating a new step upward toward an even closer relationship with God, we can sing from a knowledge that cannot ever be taken away, "He Live, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today. He walks with me and talks with me along lifes narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart. You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart." That is why these song are so precious to a believer, it's because* they are about HYMN.

Whenever I hear this hymn. It takes me back to one of the darkest seasons in my life. Almost 4 decades ago, I was admonished to "Trust and Obey" - almost 4 DECADES. God is faithful. If we first place our trust in Him and believe He is carrying you when you cannot walk or crawl alone. Then commit to allowing Him to direct your path no matter the terrain or climate, you will be able to testify of His love, goodness, and faithfulness - only "trust and obey." Thank you David for this rendition and for your ministry. Blessings to you and your family.
