To anyone who says this is a pick me or simp song, ok lmfao, so? This song, in my interpretation, is just about being yourself and staying close to the truth. Not deluding yourself and thinking x y z is the truth-that isn't even being yourself, it's just trying to stay in your own comfort bubble and make everyone live in your world despite knowing that's unrealistic and impossible; not wanting to face the truth and twisting it in all sorts of ways. It's literally just a song about encouraging confidence, independence and doing what you love without fear-alongside some guys' preference. Preference is preference, just ignore it if you don't agree. Fyi no it's not about being reliant on females either, it's just preference. Someone who isn't scared to show their true colors. Why even be fixated on the fact if someone is different? It's something completely else if you're talking about attention.
