This is just my opinion. I would make JK cry instead of JM. JM didn't called Jk in advance to tell him that he will be coming home late. When Jm saw Jk being angry he didn't comfort Jk but went to text Taemin. So maybe you can put Jk crying in the living room until he fell asleep. After a few moments, Jm realise that Jk did not go to the bedroom. Hence he decided to go to the living room to find Jk then he that Jk has fallen asleep on the sofa with tear mark on Jk face. Jm maybe touch Jk's face or what as he felt disappointed about himself and he accidentally wake Jk up. After Jk wake up, he saw Jm and he wanted to leave to go the bedroom but Jm stop him and ask Jk not to leave. Jm stand up and turn Jk to face him and ask Jk" don't you trust and have confidence in me? After hearing the question, Jk starting to cry again and reply "i trust and have confidence in you but i don't have confidence in myself and i don't trust since Taemin is better than me so im scared that you would leave me for him" . When Jm saw Jk burst into tears and heard what Jk said Jm hug Jk tightly and said sorry to Jk as he made Jk feel this way. He then comfort Jk by saying that no matter what happen he will always be by Jk side.
