Thank you, Mabel! Yes, the very first thing I did that began to change my life was letting go of the victim mentality! It didn't faze me that I was even doing that really until one day I consciously acknowledged that for my entire life I had always found myself in situations where I felt victimized. Then asked myself why that was.That is when it clicked that I was doing it to myself. There are no 'victims'! Even still, changing my entire mindset has been a work in progress. I still catch myself once in awhile falling into the same mind trap. As soon as I accepted that it was going to be alright, that decades worth of programming was not going to be changed overnight, it has been easier for me to forgive myself, let go, and just move on whenever I start to forget again.
