who ever would think that the spin-off series (I'm talking about Nanoha of course ) would become infinitely more popular than the parent story?

Because the action scene in Triangle Heart is more intense then Magical Lyrical Nanoha. I tried watching the nanoha but i couldn't last up to 2 episode and i drop it.

The franchise start of quite slow and quite similar to early episodes of Card Captor Sakura initially, but the tone and the tone and direction change drastically as soon as they introduced her rival Fate, and pretty much turned like the magical girl Dragonball from that point onward. However, if you still haven't watched the series, you could probably just skip the two series, and just watch the 2 movies as they pretty much cover the same stories, but with more details.

Midgardson the first 3 episodes of nanoha aren't much but after that it gets good but I kinda still prefer Triangle heart

MarineRX179 the movies are detailed? I think you're wrong, as much as the two movies are awesome they are not more detailed what they do is that they skip stuff (some of which are really important while the rest is the slice of live bits) and add another scenes that weren't there like say for example more about Precia's past or Nanoha'z training scene, they skipped the boring details but they also skipped.important things like for example The whole subplot for graham and his two cat familiars although that one is mainly because of two reasons one being this is an Alternate dimension where for some reason they don't exist at all throughout the story. Sure the movies are great and I definitely say it's a must watch but not for someone who hasn't watched the series well the only time I would recommend the movies first is if the person is really busy and can't watch the series.
